Welcome to the website of Pennies Day Nurseries, providers of childcare, kids’ clubs and so much more for nearly 25 years. Please take time to look around and contact us to find out why we have always been the home of the very best in childcare, learning and fun.

We run day nurseries in Kent and East Sussex as well as two term-time pre-schools. At our largest setting near Maidstone and Kids Clubs (PKC) offering breakfast, after-school and holiday childcare. Childcare starts from 3 months of age with our PKC  available up to the age of 11.

Pennies is family-run and always has been. Founded by Penny Scotton (a nursery nurse with a personal vision of childcare) we have always seen our work as an inclusive offer to join the Pennies’ family and enjoy the sense of belonging and support.

Penny is no longer with us, but her family continue to follow her example. We remain a group of nurseries, small enough to provide personal care and deal with every child and parent as individuals, but large enough to offer a range of facilities and a staff team with varied talents.

The unique vision of our founder puts the experience of the individual child at the heart of everything we do with curiosity and adventure making new memories every day.
